Manage your blocked phone numbers, contacts, and emails
Tap Apple Watch to view the Apple Watch app. Tap My Watch to display the My Watch screen. Tap Friends to display the Friends screen showing the current contacts' assigned friend status. At the bottom of the screen tap Blocked, and the Blocked screen will appear.
- Nothing will appear to happen when you tap it, but the process runs in the background (invisibly to the user), so allow a minute or so afterwards. To unblock your friends: - On your iPhone, in the Watch app, go to: My Watch > Friends > Blocked > swipe left on each name in the list > tap on Unblock.
On iOS
To block someone who has been added to your phone's Contacts, go to Settings > Phone > Call Blocking and Identification > Block Contact. The All Contacts window will appear where you can scroll through names to then tap the name of the contact you'd like to block.
How to Block Callers Not in Your Contacts List
We're happy to assist you with this. The Contacts app will show who's in your groups when you follow the steps below: Open the Contacts app > In the upper left-hand corner of the screen, tap “Groups.” > On the Groups screen, tap the name(s) of the group(s) you want to view.
Touch “Contacts” within the Phone or FaceTime apps. Locate the contact you want to block. Scroll to the bottom of the contact's info screen to touch “Block This Caller,” followed by “Block Contact.” Then, tap “Edit,” followed by “Delete Contact” to remove the person from your contacts.

Open the Settings on your iPhone. Then, tap on Phone. Scroll down and tap on Blocked Contacts. Here, you will see your blocked number list.
The easiest way to block an individual is through their contact card. Open the contact info of someone you want to block and scroll to the bottom of the screen. There, you'll find a button to block them. Tapping this button will prevent the person from being able to call you, send you text messages, or FaceTime you.
If you are getting communications though Messages that pass through Apple's iMessage system, you also block messages from non-contacts. In the Settings app, select Messages, then under Message Filtering, turn on Filter Unknown Senders.
Tap the row to view and edit the contacts. Allow contact editing: Tap Allow Contact Editing to turn off this option and prevent your child from editing their contacts.
Mail. If you're in the Mail app, open the email that has the contact that you want to block, then tap the contact at the top. Tap Block this Contact.
Tap Settings, Phone, then tap Blocked under the Calls heading. Tap Add New, then find the person you want to block in your Contacts list. You can also block an entire group of contacts by tapping Group in the top-left corner of the screen.
