It is not possible to set a step goal using the built-in apps on Apple Watch or to change any of the Activity app's progress rings to reflect steps. The Activity app on Apple Watch tracks your steps automatically, during general daily wear and also during any workouts.
Update your height and weight Open the Apple Watch app on your iPhone. Tap My Watch, go to Health > Health Details, then tap Edit. Tap Height or Weight, then adjust.
As you use the app and choose workouts, the order of workouts reflects your preferences. Tip: To start a workout without setting a goal, just tap the workout type you're going for—a run, walk, or stair stepper.
You can change it right now. Just go to the Activity app on your Apple Watch and force-tap on the rings. Tap on the Change Move Goal button and scroll the Digital Crown to adjust up or down. Then, just tap Update and you're done.
