No. This app is not an exercise integration app such as Google Fit or Samsung Health so it does not have the option to track your steps. You can still link with Samsung Health or Google Fit in the Android app in order to use your Android device or associated Samsung Health or Google Fit device to track your steps.
How do I connect MyFitnessPal?

Next, remove the app by going to the main applications screen, finding the MyFitnessPal icon, and pressing your finger down on it. If you're running iOS 13 or later you'll then want to select "Rearrange Apps". The icon then starts to jiggle and an "X" appears.
If the Watch app is unresponsive communicating with the iPhone, exiting and re-launching the Watch app is usually enough to cause un-synced data to process. In some cases it may also be helpful to tap More > Sync on the MyFitnessPal iPhone app.
Tap on Apps & Devices. Search and tap on Health app. Tap on Settings to connect MyFitnessPal to Apple Health. Make sure Allow “MyFitnessPal” to Read Data > Workouts is turned to ON to sync your workouts between both apps.
Add Apple Card to your Apple Watch
Your Apple Watch is linked to an Apple ID. You need to enter the email address and password for that Apple ID to continue set up. If your Apple Watch was previously owned, you might need to contact the previous owner to remove Activation Lock.
If the manually added workout did not sync, we recommend uninstalling and then reinstalling the app. Before deleting your app, please note that any information that has not previously synced will be lost. To make sure your data has been syncing with the site, go to www.MyFitnessPal.com.
