How to Change the Snooze Time on You iPhone (Sort Of)
Your iPhone uses nine minutes as the snooze time for all your alarms. While there's no direct way to change this snooze time, you can use a couple of workarounds to get alarms at custom intervals. We'll show you how.
It doesn't even have anything to do with our sleep pattern. The reason the snooze facility on our phones is automatically set at nine minutes is actually down to Apple paying homage to the history of clocks.
You can't change the snooze of an alarm in the Clock app on your iPhone – it's always 9 minutes. However, you can work around it by setting a series of alarms that go off at different intervals. You can also use a third-party alarm app that allows you to customize the snooze time.
The short answer is no. Unfortunately, Apple hasn't added a way for us to edit the snooze time for ourselves, which might actually be a good thing if you were thinking about using a 15-minute snooze timer (I know I did).
It's a bit hilarious iPhone owners need to download a separate app just to edit the snooze for their alarm, but such is life. In Alarmy, for example, editing the snooze is as easy as opening the app, tapping the alarm, tapping 'Snooze,' and choosing an option anywhere between 1 minute and 60 minutes.

To do this, follow these simple steps:
Though, how much more sleep is the perfect amount that your alarm clocks should let you have? If you set your alarm on the default alarm clock on your iPhone, it will ring again after exactly nine minutes. Apple has deliberately made this decision to hard code a nine-minute snooze time in its alarm clock.
Open the Clock app and select the three vertical dots in the upper-right corner of your screen. For a time other than the default 10 minutes, Locate the grouping Alarms and select "Snooze length" to choose a new snooze length.
Tap “Settings” on the popup menu. In the Alarms section of the Settings screen, tap “Snooze length”. The default snooze time is 10 minutes. Swipe up and down on the number of “minutes” on the Snooze length dialog box and then tap “OK”.
The literature is conflicted on how long snoozing should actually take. Some sleep experts say you should keep your snooze period under 10 minutes, while others say 20 minutes is the optimal snooze period.
In a completely programmable digital era, the fact that snooze is set to a default (and in many cases, an unchangeable default) nine minutes is what is described as a "nostalgic artificial standard.
