On your iPhone, those activity stats should now live inside of the Fitness app if you're running the latest software on your phone and smartwatch. The Workout app, on the other hand, is for running, swimming, cycling, gym classes and all the other stuff that gets your heart racing.
To share activity, you and your friends both need an Apple Watch. When your friends close their rings, finish workouts, or earn achievements, you get notifications about their progress.
The Apple Watch has a separate app for workouts that lets you time your workout, as well as keep track of your pace, distance, calories burned and heart rate. The watch itself doesn't have GPS, unlike one of its competitors, the Fitbit Surge.
In the app's Workouts tab, you can tap Browse to select Glutes & Legs to get a selection of workouts ideal for leg day. The range is broad enough to have something for everyone, from beginners to experts. There are some you can do at home without any special equipment.
You can run, cycle, swim, dance, do HIIT, paddle board with the Apple Watch and more. If you've upgraded to watchOS 8, your Apple Watch can track Tai Chi, too. As with most fitness wearables, the Apple Watch 7 tracks your time elapsed, calories burned, heart rate and distance traveled, when applicable.
Next time you start a workout gardening will be in the list. On your Apple Watch, open the Workout app. Tap Other. Complete your workout.

End the workout on Apple Watch When you're ready to end your workout: Swipe right, then tap End. Turn the Digital Crown to scroll through the results summary, then tap Done at the bottom.
